After gaining knowledge and experience as a Site Civil Engineer in the UK, my work ranged from roads and street works, housing, Cullet tunnels, factories, MoD Army Foundation College, Health Centres, Leisure Centres and Edinburgh Houses of Parliament. I then had the opportunity to travel to Saudi Arabia and work with a Joint Venture between Shell Oil, Armco and Total for 7 years.
Then due to my experiences in the Oil and Gas sector and having the NEBOSH Oil and Gas certificate, my next chapter took me to Seizwell as a EHS manager working on the onshore Sub station for an offshore wind farm, where I took on other roles such as site management, QA/QC management and assisting the commercial manager. When this job was completed I then became the Aviation EHS manager working for a contractor in Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.
After this my next challenge was as an EHS Manager constructing Europes first multi-storey coach and car park in Wembley- called Wembley Pink, during this contract I also took on site management, logistics and security management, Community liaison manager and then organised a Cancer "Wear it Pink" charity event raising just over £10,000 in one day.
Opportunity then arose for me to have 2 contracts simultaneously, while I was in UK during Covid I worked as a site manager with a shop fitting contractor called D&M Shoplifters and managed full fitouts for Home Bargains, as well as a contract working in Mozambique with SASOL Exploration and Production.
My current challenge is working with Occidental UAE in Gas exploration in Blocks 3 and 5.
